Terms and Conditions

All new clients will be required to read and confirm the acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Mellow Mind Therapy counselling agreement, which will be carefully explained to you during your first session and is nothing to be concerned about.

The therapy contract is a simple document, which helps to ensure you understand the terms of the therapeutic relationship you are entering into when you begin sessions with Mellow Mind Therapy.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

Client-Therapist confidentiality is an essential part of all counselling and psychotherapy. It underpins the client's sense of safety and trust and contributes to making the therapeutic relationship different from any other.

Mellow Mind Therapy holds all client records securely and will ensure confidentiality in the treatment of any information held about its clients and all information recorded and held is solely for the purpose of maintaining effective therapeutic treatment.

Mellow Mind Therapy is registered with the Information Commissioners Office as a sole trader and is required to handle your personal date in accordance with GDPR regulations.

Payment & Cancellation Policy for all Sessions

I can only offer a limited number of sessions per week and often have a waiting list of 2-3 weeks for face to face Counselling and up to 4 weeks for Equine Therapy. As such all booked sessions must be pre paid within 48 hours prior to attendance. This can be done via BACS or Paypal. Reminders will be sent on booking, via email and any unpaid session, will be cancelled. It is possible to pre pay for multiple sessions up front.

The required notice for cancellation with a full refund is 48 hours. If for any reason you are unable to attend your appointment, it is essential to let me know as soon as possible, either via email to [email protected] or via text / whatsapp to 07714 361549.

Cancelled appointments can either be refunded or be rearranged for another time, provided they have been cancelled with 48 hours notice.

Late cancellation (less than 48 hours) or if you do not attend your appointment, will incur the full session fee.

If I need to cancel. you will be given as much advance notice as possible in terms of the holidays or needing to cancel your appointment for any other reason.
